The
Restaurant Bohemia started its career in the year 1991. In a small
premise, where gradually we got to be known now.
In the year 1996 we installed ourselves in an old house of the
19th century, typical of the area. Here we consolidated ourselves
and increased our clientele.
Our principal aspiration has been to struggle to create our own
Restaurant.
In the year 2003 we have our new restaurant. It is situated in
the Valle de Azahar, inland of the Costa del Sol. Coín is
a village surrounded by small hills and orchards of fruit trees,
And is only twenty kilometres from the towns of Marbella, Mijas
and Málaga.
Restaurant Bohemia is based on the recovery and recycling of old
Furniture and materials (Carpentry, Grills, Moorish tiles etc.).
Of the local architecture of the beginning of the twentieth century.
We want to create a cosy and peaceful atmosphere where our clients
can feel at home.
We want to consolidate our gastronomic offerings, based on local
products with an innovative attitude in their makeup, presentation
and service. The restaurant has various dining rooms, where we have
given a good atmosphere, keeping the old style in accordance of
the principles of the century. Subtly showing our local craftsmanship
by our local artisan friends Showing the bulrush chairs painted
in oil by our great friend Anette Delataille, decorated with landscapes
and details of Coin.
We have a weaving workshop situated in the restaurant, where the
owner weaves his Andalusian style tapestries, which the clients
can enjoy while passing an agreeable time. At the same time we have
an ample wine cellar and a great selection of wines, kept under
the best conditions of humidity and temperature.
In winter we have a fireplace and in summer a large patio typical
of Coin light and fresh where our clients may enjoy a tranquil and
agreeable dinner during the summer nights.
